The recently remodeled Rijks Museum is even better than ever! Reopening in 2013, after a ten-year renovation which cost € 375 million. It draws about 2.2 million visitors a year and staffed by amazingly helpful and knowledgeable multilingual staff. The total collection hovers around 1,000,000 objects of which they have about 8,000 on display. They range in antiquity from around 1100-2000 A.D.
